asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he is able to announce the membership of the committee which is being set up to review the organisation of the Meteorological Office.

I am glad to say that Lord Brabazon has accepted the invitation of my noble Friend to serve as Chairman of the Committee which is to review the organisation of the Meteorological Office in relation to current and future requirements.

The Committee will be composed as follows:
