HC Deb 25 April 1955 vol 540 cc31-2W
66. Mr. Snow

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he will reconsider his decision to close the Tamworth Fuel Office, since the public in Tamworth and district would have to travel to Sutton Coldfield or Cannock, to which places public transport is inconvenient, and also since miners entitled to coal concession allowance may, in the event of sickness, have to register for normal rations.

Mr. Joynson-Hicks

No decision has yet been taken, and the matter is still under consideration.
