asked the Minister of Defence (1) when, as a result of understandings reached at the London Conference, it is expected that the local expenditure of British Forces in Germany will have to be met from Service votes;

(2) what is the annual rate of local expenditure of British Forces in Germany which is at present met by the Federal Republic.
