§ Mr. Doddsasked the Minister of Food what decision has been reached following consideration of the request by the Australian Government that the guarantee support prices for Australian dried fruits shipped to the United Kingdom and sold before 31st March, 1955, should be extended so as to cover the disposal of the 1954 crop owing to the slowing down of sales.
Mr. AmoryAustralian dried fruit has been selling well, and I hope that the whole of the remaining supplies will be disposed of before the 31st March, 1955.
