§ Mr. Iain MacleodThe investigations mentioned in the reply I gave to the hon. Member on 1st July are not yet complete. I would, however, point out that these investigations are designed to clarify the incidence of tonsillectomy on the incidence of a certain form of poliomyelitis and would not carry the implications of the second part of the Question.
