§ 137. Sir J. Lucasasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware that 10 per cent. of the Jamaicans leaving for England have criminal records; and that, as there are restrictions on the emigration of Britons to Jamaica, he will take powers to restrict by selection or otherwise the immigration of Jamaicans with criminal records to this country, or to send them back if convicted here.
