asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the number of hon. Members who have claimed the Sessional Allowance; and the number that have signified to his Department that it is not their intention to claim this allowance.

Four hundred and thirty-one Members have claimed the Sessional Allowance. Thirty-one have signified in writing that it is not their intention to claim it.
