§ Mr. H. StraussThe Board of Trade, with the other Departments concerned, is carefully watching the trend of employment in Durham. While it has no power to direct an industry to a particular place, it brings particularly to the notice of industrialists seeking new quarters those parts of Development Areas where the need for employment is greatest.
