§ 129. Mr. de Freitasasked the Minister of Agriculture what representation his Department has on scientific bodies inquiring into weather modification generally and, in particular, into the artificial production over the sea of rain from clouds which otherwise would precipitate over this country.
§ Mr. NugentMy Department is not represented on the Meteorological Research Committee or on any scientific bodies carrying out the inquiries to which the hon. Member refers. It is. however, kept in touch with those inquiries through its representation on the Meteorological Committee which advises my noble Friend the Secretary of State for Air.
