§ Mr. G. Robertsasked the Minister of Health to consider the work done by the Caernarvonshire, Anglesey and Merioneth Tubercular Aid Society to rehabilitate tuberculars through the provision of suitable work, with a view to encouraging the establishment of small workshops and factories for tuberculars in the three counties, analogous to the Manton Factory, Caernarvon.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodLocal health authorities can, with my approval, contribute to a voluntary organisation providing care and after care for the tuberculous which may include the provision of suitable employment; alternatively, financial assistance in providing employment might be available through my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour and National Service under the Disabled Persons (Employment) Act, 1944.
