HC Deb 24 November 1954 vol 533 c136W
97. Mr. H. Johnson

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General whether he will give an assurance that he will approve the applications of the Independent Television Authority for all necessary licences and facilities to enable short radio links and boosters to be operated by them, so as to ensure that the London commercial television programme is received in Brighton and other coastal areas of Sussex.

Mr. Gammans

My noble Friend will keep this point in mind, but it is much too early to consider it in detail.
