HC Deb 24 November 1954 vol 533 cc146-7W
124. Air Commodore Harvey

asked the President of the Board of Trade what quantity of low-priced textile fabrics have been imported from China since 1st January, 1954.

Mr. Low

The trade returns do not distinguish low-priced textiles as such. 834,704 square yards of woven fabrics of all kinds, all of which consisted wholly or mainly of silk, were imported from China during January-October, 1954.
