§ Mr. F. MacleanNegotiations for the transfer of these barracks to the Army are still proceeding. It is now clear from the detailed examination which has been carried out that much more work than was originally anticipated would have to be done on them before they could be fit for occupation. In the altered circumstances, I am unable to say when the barracks will be ready for occupation.
