Friend the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation who acts on our behalf in this matter does, I know, try to use the Port of Barry whenever possible, but the extent of use is governed by the shipping opportunities. The main factors in the choice of ports are the need to get regular shipments to overseas theatres and the desirability of reducing movement by rail.
