Jonesasked the Minister of Health if he is aware of the achievements of the Caernarvonshire, Anglesey and Merionethshire Tuberculous Subjects Aid and Protection Society; and what assistance he proposes to give this society to secure permanent work for tuberculosis and silicosis patients in the three counties.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodYes; to the extent that the work of the society is appropriate to the care and after-care arrangements provided by a local health authority, that authority may, with my approval, make a financial contribution which would be grant-aided by the Exchequer.
