Mr. AmoryI hope to complete my consultations with the interests concerned on the Report of the Departmental Committee on Coastal Flooding early in the New Year. I cannot make a statement on Exchequer grants towards expenditure on the maintenance of sea defences meanwhile. Exchequer grants are already available for new work and works of improvement.
