§ 53. Mr. Teelingasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what decision has been reached about war damage compensation for Maltese and other British residents in Tunisia.
§ Mr. TurtonAn agreement was concluded last month with the French Government whereby British nationals will receive the same treatment as French nationals as regards compensation for war damage sustained in the Second World War in French overseas territories, including Tunisia. The agreement will enter into force on 10th December.
