Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what reply the Trusteeship Council of the United Nations has received to the resolution passed at the Trusteeship Council in respect of the petition by native leaders of the Marshall Islands, asking greater protection against the effect of nuclear weapon experiments.
§ Lord John HopeThe United States Government, who are the Administering Authority of the Marshall Islands, accepted the recommendation of the Trusteeship Council that all possible precautionary measures should be taken.
