WatkinsonThis booklet, which is published by the Stationery Office, price 3d., deals with facilities in the Army; it would not be appropriate to issue it to every registrant for National Service, many of whom will serve in the Navy or Royal Marines, or Royal Air Force. The information in condensed form will, however, be included in the general handbook on National Service, now being prepared in my Department. This handbook will be made available, without charge, to parents, school authorities, employers and trade union officials, and to all men registering for National Service.
