§ Mr. Malcolm MacPhersonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what instructions he has given to police forces in Scotland corresponding to those given by the Home Secretary in connection with the Lattimore case.
§ Mr. J. StuartThe arrangements to which my right hon. Friend, the Home Secretary, referred in his reply to Questions addressed to him by several hon. Members on 28th October are designed to ensure that in any case like the Lattimore case no action will he taken by the police anywhere in the United Kingdom until there has been an opportunity for the matter to be considered at a high level.
