asked the Minister of Defence when it is proposed to disclose to the House the results of the comprehensive review of defence occasioned by the impact of atomic weapons of attack.

In accordance with normal practice, a Statement on Defence for 1955 will be issued in the early part of next year. The results of the Government's review of defence policy will be set out in that statement. Certain specific measures will be announced in the near future.
