§ Captain Kerbyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is aware of the bad conditions in the ground-floor police canteen at New Scotland Yard and, in particular, of the evil odour which ascends from the New Scotland Yard Horticultural Society fertiliser 34W store, located immediately below this canteen; and what action he proposes taking to rectify these conditions.
§ Sir D. Maxwell FyfeThe Horticultural Society's fertiliser store is being moved elsewhere and with it, I trust, the odour referred to by my hon. and gallant Friend. I am not aware of any other cause for complaint concerning this small but efficient and useful canteen.
