§ 36. Mr. Bairdasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if the survey committee which he has set up on British canals will take evidence from interested parties; and if its report will be published.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydI understand that the Board of Survey, which, as I informed the House on 17th March, has been appointed by the Chairman of the British Transport Commission and not by me, intend to take evidence as necessary. When the Board have reported the Chairman of the Commission will no doubt consider the question of publication.
