§ Mr. J. P. L. ThomasI have no information about inquiries, and shipbuilders do not ordinarily report the orders they receive until they apply for licences. However, licences for the construction of two merchant ships with an aggregate gross tonnage of 12,630 have been issued to North-East Coast shipbuilders since 6th April. 1954.
