§ 66. Sir Edward Keelingasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury what representations have been made to the Peruvian and Ecuadorean Governments regarding payment of their debts to bondholders in this country.
§ Mr. MaudlingIn both cases the terms of settlement have been agreed, and it now remains for a formal offer to be made to the bondholders. We are in close touch with the Council of Foreign Bondholders and, if necessary, we will certainly make further representations.
