§ Mr. LytteltonI would refer the hon. Member to my right hon. Friend's reply to the hon. Member for Swindon (Mr. T. Reid) on 28th April. Her Majesty's Government have already made it clear that no change in the sovereignty of the island is intended, and that the offer of a new Constitution, made in 1948 subject to certain conditions, remains open.
