§ Miss Hornsby-SmithThe most effective encouragement is through personal approach to parents by family doctors, health visitors, teachers and others. In support, my right hon. Friend's Department offers local authorities free publicity in the form of advertisements in local newspapers, posters, cinema slides and 167W literature. The Department also undertakes centrally the insertion of Press advertisements and the display of large posters in selected areas at suitable times.
