HC Deb 08 March 1954 vol 524 c115W
14. Wing Commander Hulbert

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what claims are outstanding against the Soviet Government for damage and injury to British subjects and property since 1945.

Mr. Dodds-Parker

I am not sure what kind of claims my hon. and gallant Friend has in mind. I have details of five claims connected with shipping, which are still outstanding against Soviet organisations or the Soviet Government. As the House is aware, we have also made a claim to the Soviet Government for the loss of the Lincoln bomber and its crew shot down over Germany a year ago.
