§ Sir David Maxwell FyfeI do not contemplate, and indeed would strongly oppose, any change in the Police College which would affect the principle that there should be equality of opportunity for all those who enter the police service for England and Wales. The policy remains as stated in the White Paper (Cmd. 7070) presented to Parliament in March, 1947.
