§ Mr. Turner-Samuelsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will give consideration in his forthcoming Budget in dealing with the question of entertainment tax on cinemas, to the fact that only some 50 to 58 per cent, of the takings, after payment of the tax, is left to cinemas to meet their costs which have currently largely increased; and whether he will take steps to ease this burden.
