§ 63. Mr. D. Jonesasked the Minister of Food what arrangements are being made by his Department either to provide or to 98W secure alternative employment for those supervisory officers of his Meat and Livestock division who will be displaced when the abattoirs are handed over to local authority control in the near future.
Dr. HillAll possible help is being given by the Department to the officials who will be redundant when meat control ends. Many have already found other employment and a number of those who have suitable qualifications have been given new work in my Department in the Fatstock Guarantee Scheme.
