§ Mr. WatkinsonThe employment exchanges in these areas, as elsewhere, are kept informed of the industry's requirements. They assist in general publicity and bring the opportunities in coalmining to the notice of suitable men seeking employment. There are standing arrangements with the National Coal Board for handling applications. There have been no recent changes in this matter.
