Smithersasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if his attention has been called to the evidence given before the Royal Commission in Australia, which is hearing evidence of Communist activities arising from the Petrov case; and, in view of the fact that some of these activities extend to Great Britain, if he will obtain a copy of the evidence and have it examined with a view to taking appropriate action in this country.
