Mr. Haymanasked the Minister of Agriculture what representations he has received in recent months under Section 194 of the Law of Property Act, 1925, in regard to common rights over Walkhampton Common in the Dartmoor 87W National Park, parts of which the British Broadcasting Corporation wants to buy for a television station; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. NugentThe period for the submission of objections to the application by the B.B.C. for the Minister's consent under Section 194 of the Law of Property Act, 1925, to the erection of a television station on Hessary Tor has been extended to 7th August. One objection has been received and in the light of this, and of any further objections the matter will be considered and an announcement made as soon as possible.
