§ Mr. MaudlingI have nothing to add to the reply given to the hon. Member by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation on 21st July, and the North-East Industrial and Development Association are being informed accordingly.
§ 71. Mr. D. Jonesasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury the total cost to the Customs Department in overtime 82W and additional payments for the provisions of officers at Greatham Airport to clear arriving and departing aircraft in the year 1953; and what proportion of such sum was recovered by the Customs Department from the aircraft operators.
