HC Deb 28 July 1954 vol 531 c61W
98 and 99. Mr. Hayman

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty (1) what expense has been incurred by his Department on breaking up the road, on requisitioned land, leading to Polgwidden Cove, Cornwall; and what further expenditure is envisaged on this project during the current financial year and during 1955–56;

(2) whether his Department has now derequisitioned Trebah Beach, Polgwidden Cove, Cornwall.

Mr. J. P. L. Thomas

No expense has been or will be incurred by the Admiralty in breaking up the road leading to Polgwidden Cove. The sites of the road and the part of Trebah Beach, which had been held on requisition by the Admiralty, were derequisitioned on 25th August, 1953.
