asked the Minister of Agriculture the qualifications of the person he is proposing to appoint to look into the Department of the Ministry of Agriculture as a result of the Crichel Down inquiry.

As announced in the debate on 20th July, Sir Arton Wilson, a distinguished retired Civil Servant, and Mr. F. W. Allam, an experienced land agent, have agreed to undertake this inquiry.
