§ 108. Mr. Emrys Hughesasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will apply to Cyprus Clause III of the declaration which the Prime Minister signed with President Eisenhower, upholding the principle of self-government.
§ Mr. LytteltonClause (iii) of the Potomac Charter reflects what has been for many years the policy of Her Majesty's Governments of all parties in regard to the political advance of all Colonial Territories, including Cyprus.
