§ Sir A. Bossomasked the Minister of Agriculture if he will make an order to ensure that all fertilisers are sold in sacks holding not more than 1½ cwt., and that the weights are printed on all fertiliser sacks or bags.
§ Sir T. DugdaleI have no power to make an order for either of these purposes. As regards the proposal that printing of the weight on fertiliser sacks or bags should be made compulsory, I understand that my right hon. Friend, the President of the Board of Trade, has this matter under consideration in connection with possible weights and measures legislation.
