§ Sir T. DugdaleWith regard to the first part of the Question, I would refer the hon. Member to the answer given by my right hon. and learned Friend the Home Secretary to the hon. and gallant Member for Horncastle (Commander Maitland) on 3rd June. As to the second part, my right hon. Friend the Minister of Housing and Local Government, as the Minister responsible for coast protection, and I, as the Minister responsible for the prevention of flooding of low-lying land, will be concerned with any legislation or other action that may arise from the Waverley Committee's recommendations.
