§ Mr. D. Jonesasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what plans are under consideration to ensure that the best use is made of the land in Jamaica available to the tenants under the Land Use Bill, and to prevent over production of any particular crop.
§ Mr. LytteltonThe Jamaica Government have not yet decided the form in which a Land Use Bill should be submitted to the Legislature. I am sure that they will have very much in mind the importance of impartiality in the members of any tribunals which may be set up.
