The Attorney-GeneralAs regards the date on which the inquiries will open, I cannot at present add anything to the answer I gave to the hon. Member for Uxbridge (Mr. Beswick) on 5th July. I fully appreciate the desirability of holding the inquiries as soon as possible and I can assure my hon. Friend that good progress is being made with the preparations; but I am certain that it would be a mistake to open the inquiries before the evidence is ready to be put before the court.
