§ Mr. J. P. L. ThomasAn application has been received and a licence has been granted for the construction of 20 trawlers for the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; and a recent application in respect of a merchant ship is being considered.
My right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport and civil Aviation has received applications to transfer six secondhand ships, three of which have been allowed and three are under consideration.
