§ Miss Hornsby-SmithAt 31st December, 1953, there were 3,023 student nurses, 2,956 full-time and 560 part-time qualified nurses. At 31st December, 1952, there were 3,243 student nurses, 2,880 full-time and 455 part-time qualified nurses.
