§ 97. Mr. Brockwayasked the Under-Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations on what ground Headman Lekameleng Kegapetswe of Letlhakana Village, Boteti River, has been arrested and imprisoned in Bechuanaland.
§ Mr. J. FosterLekameleng Kegapetswe is not a headman. He was convicted by the Native Authority for calling a meeting which, under native law and custom, only headmen may do and was sentenced to two months' imprisonment. He did not appeal against the sentence.
