§ Mr. H. MacmillanThe figures for the whole of 1953 are not yet available, but in the first nine months 3,197 dwellings with four bedrooms were completed and 34 with five or more bedrooms. The corresponding figures for the 12 months of 1951 were 4,295 and 69. These figures apply only to houses built by local authorities and new town corporations.
