asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make a statement on the progress made towards arranging the Korean peace conference.

The hon. Gentleman will have seen my right hon. Friend's reply yesterday to the right hon. and learned Member for Rowley Regis and Tipton (Mr. A. Henderson). According to Press reports, the "Liaison Secretaries" of the two sides made no progress yesterday but agreed to meet again at Panmunjom on 23rd January.
