HC Deb 25 February 1954 vol 524 c41W
63. Major Anstruther-Gray

asked the Minister of Labour the number of cases during the past year in which deferment of National Service has been refused to part-time stockmen on the ground that the proportion of their time spent tending stock amounted to less than 70 per cent.; and if he will give separate figures for Scotland.

Sir W. Monckton

I regret that this information is not available: it could only be obtained by the expenditure of a quite disproportionate amount of time and labour.
