§ 76. Major Anstruther-Grayasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will now state the figure to which he proposes to restrict the importation of Landrace pigs; and whether this figure will allow all outstanding applications to be granted, subject to proper veterinary precautions.
§ Mr. J. StuartI have arranged with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture for the importation of 41 Landrace pigs into Scotland. This will enable all present applicants to receive a quota but will not be sufficient to satisfy all these applications in full.
