§ Mr. Parkinasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance (1) how many of the householders receiving weekly allowances from the Paddington area office of the National Assistance Board in December, 1962, whose full rent or similar outgoings were not taken into account, were, respectively, Commonwealth immigrants, tenants of furnished accommodation, single persons, childless couples, men with dependent children and women with dependent children;
(2) how many weekly allowances were being paid by the Paddington area office of the National Assistance Board in December, 1963; how many of the recipients were householders paying rent or owner-occupiers with comparable outgoings; and in how many cases the full amount of such rent or outgoings was taken into account in assessing the weekly allowance;
